Dental Implants

Dental implants are tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. Small posts that protrude through the gums are then attached to the implant. These posts provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth. Implants also help preserve facial structure, preventing bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is performed to reshape certain structures of the face and body to improve the patient’s appearance and self-image. Some major procedures are performed in an operating room under anesthesia while many smaller procedures can be done in the office while the patient is awake. We believe that patient education is very important in the consideration of any elective cosmetic procedure, including the credentials and experience of the surgeon as well as an understanding of the benefits and risks of the desired procedure(s).

Injectable Fillers

Injectable fillers such as Juvéderm, Juvaderm Voluma, Belotero and Perlane can refresh your face and give you more youthful and rested look. Most are Hyaluronic acid-based fillers, which is a natural component of your tissue. They add volume, usually by filling in wrinkles and lines, and sometimes by plumping up areas of the face that have lost fat pads (such as the cheeks, under-eye area, and temples). Injectable fillers can also enhance the fullness of your lips.

Rhinoplasty

Nose Surgery or Nose Reshaping

As the largest protrusion on the face, the nose can be a focus of attention. If the nose is particularly crooked, too large, or too small, it may be a source of embarrassment and reduced self-esteem. With a rhinoplasty, also known as nose surgery or a nose job, these issues can be corrected. Appearance of the nose can be improved for individuals who are dissatisfied with the shape and size of their nose.

Ear Surgery

There are typically two types of ear surgery: earlobe repair and otoplasty (pinning back of the ears). We are able to perform both of these procedures in our office. Earlobe Repair Heavy earrings, excess pulling on the earring and direct trauma to the earlobe can cause a partial split or a complete tear in the ear lobule. Torn earlobes occur with more regularity than realized. However, a split or torn earlobe can be brought back together and repaired.
